Six echoes.

One breathing room.

No hard edges.

Just sound, lingering long enough to remember where it came from.

Shadow Resonances is the newest release in the Shadow cycle: six echoes built from singing bowls, bells, resonance, atmosphere, and the strange afterlife of sound after it has already been struck.

Where Shadow Etudes sat alone at the piano, Shadow Intervals moved through the shared tension of strings, Shadow Interludes turned toward air, and Shadow Variations turned toward pressure, Shadow Resonances turns toward space, echo, and memory.

In the earlier Shadow releases, the breathing cue often travelled through pitch. A line rose with the inhale, hovered through the hold, and descended with the exhale. This time, there is no instrumental quartet holding the architecture together.

Here, it travels through space.

Inhales live on the left.

Holds live in the centre.

Exhales live on the right.

The listener is no longer simply following a musical line through time. They are sitting inside the breathing pattern as it moves around them.

If the mind wanders, the bells offer another route back.

Not only through counting.

Not only through sound.

Through location.

The bell says: you are here.

And because it continues ringing after the strike, the cue does not immediately disappear. It hangs in the air, overlapping with whatever comes next until guidance becomes atmosphere and atmosphere becomes memory.

The bells are the skeleton.

The resonance is the body.

### Resonance, not repetition

Resonance is what happens after impact.

The strike is brief.

The ring continues.

Singing bowls and bells understand this instinctively. They do not simply enter, make a sound, and disappear. They bloom. They shimmer. They decay. They leave something behind.

A small ghost in the room.

That lingering sound became the material of Shadow Resonances. Across the six movements, the bells form the skeleton while the world around them keeps changing: synth chords, cymbals, choral textures, strings, marimba, tubular bells, harp, pulses, reverse rises, audible exhales and small sounds travelling through the stereo field.

Each piece expands from the breathing cue, gathers its own atmosphere, and eventually pares itself back.

Each piece begins with bells.

A world forms around them.

That world changes.

Then it thins.

And the bells remain.

Because each Echo begins and ends this way, the album can move almost as one continuous environment. There are no six hard stops. Instead, one space recedes and another begins to appear.

One room closes.

Another opens.

The same darkness.

A different echo.

### Echo I–VI

Each movement is titled Echo. Not because the same thing simply comes back. An echo returns changed.

More distant.

Less solid.

Coloured by the space it travelled through.

That is where these six pieces live.

### Tracklist:

1\. Echo I

2\. Echo II

3\. Echo III

4\. Echo IV

5\. Echo V

6\. Echo VI

Released **July 31, 2026.**

### How to listen

Listen in order if you want the full arc: Echo I through Echo VI.

Let the bells carry you from room to room.

Choose a single Echo if you need somewhere quieter to land.

Echo I for structure.

Echo II for ignition.

Echo III for calming down.

Echo IV for softening.

Echo V for steadiness.

Echo VI for the long unwinding exit.

Headphones especially help with this one. The spatial movement is part of the composition: left, centre, right, the breathing pattern mapped across the auditory space.

But the music does not demand perfect attention.

But the music does not demand a ritual. It can sit beside reading, walking, thinking, resting, or letting the room slowly unclench around you.

If your mind wanders, let it.

The bells will still be there.

The room will remember the breath until you do.

If you listen, let me know which Echo was still ringing after the room went quiet.
