Shadow Etudes: Six Movements for a Quiet Mind

Shadow Etudes: Six Movements for a Quiet Mind

Now streaming everywhere.

Some music doesn’t arrive with a bang. It slips in. A thin seam of light in a locked room.

Shadow Etudes is my new piano album, now live across streaming platforms. Six movements. Six small rooms. Each one built to pull your mind out of the noise without asking you to become someone calmer, cleaner, better. Just quieter. For a minute or five.

This is contemporary classical at the edge of silence. Minimal, cinematic, and close-mic intimate. The kind of listening that feels like stepping into shadow and realising it isn’t empty. It’s structure.

Why “Etudes”

Etudes are usually about precision. Drills. Discipline. These are etudes for disappearance.

Not in the dramatic sense. No vanishing act. More like the moment your thoughts stop performing and start dissolving.

Lux I–VI

Each movement is titled Lux: light, in Latin. But this isn’t daylight. This is noir light. The afterglow. The hallway spill. The glare you see when you close your eyes.

How to listen

Put it on when you don’t want inspiration. Put it on when you want the opposite: a clean exit.

Headphones help. Night helps. But the music doesn’t require a ritual. It just asks for a little space.

Press play: Shadow Etudes is out now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and everywhere else you listen.
